As a Turk, I have to say—these lamb chops are on another level! Also, home salad! We found this place thanks to a tip from another restaurant in Plakias. It’s run by two brothers, and the food is lovingly prepared by their parents. A must-try in Crete! (Heads-up: no seafood on the menu, just in case you’re looking for that.)

We have eaten here twice and will go tonight as staff and food are fabulous- the stuffed vine leaves starter and lamb kleftico were the best that we have ever eaten. Authentic Greek food - amazing. The staff are lovely and you are not crammed in - an absolute must visit but you must book to get a table!

The free water was everything. You don’t get that a lot here haha. Free bread with the olive oil and balsamic was to die for. We devoured that hahaha. The food was great and satisfying as well. Not the best food we’ve had here but still loved it. Server was so helpful with us

Authentic Cretan food, cozy atmosphere, and everything was delicious! The waiter was super friendly and made us feel right at home. If I could give 6 stars, I would! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Super friendly staff, delicious food, great prices! Free water, dessert and raki. I even got a complement on my watch. So thanks, this is the best taverna in Georgioupolis.

Pretty much the top rated restaurant in town and to be fair to them, not a suprise. Very good, very very good indeed. Friendly, quick, cold beers, great wine and the food is superb. Few veggie options too, very authentic Greek cuisine which is why this family restaurant is number 1. Book the day before at least or arrive after 8. Amazing

Service here was nice. My boyfriend ordered beef stuff feta cheese and I ordered lamb chops for myself. Then we also ordered the starter of Dolmadakia to share. The lamb chops is really gooood, I must say that it is the best lamb I have had in Crete Island so far. However my boyfriend said his food tasted good but he could notice the gas smell in the beef which is a minus point. Dolmadakia is good as well. Besides that, we ordered white and red house wine. I would recommend you to try the red wine, go with the dry option. So good!
